More and more countries come up with details about the way they want to select their participant for Istanbul. Jonas Vilimas, representing the Lithuanian broadcaster LRT, gave our colleagues at DotEurovision.com more information.
LRT has confirmed earlier hints about staging semi finals ahead of the national final to select the song that will be performed in Istanbul. Lithuania has to survive the Eurovision qualifier round before they can enter the final.
From now on until 1st December, everybody is allowed to submit songs to LRT's office. Concerning nationality, only the performer or half of the performing group should be a Lithuanian residence.
Since LRT started to webcast their complete broadcast, it's expected that the national final and the semi finals will be available to watch online live too.
