The Israeli national broadcaster, KAN, has been awarded the Best of Technology and Innovation Venice TV Award for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

Israel hosted the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time in Eurovision history last May after Netta‘s epic victory in Lisbon last year.

2019 saw Tel Aviv welcome the Eurovision Song Contest for the very first time. The show was organized and produced by KAN:

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest was held at Expo Tel Aviv in Tel Aviv on 14, 16 and 18 May. The show was hosted by Erez Tal, Assi Azar, Bar Refaeli and Lucy Ayoub. A total of 41 nations partook in the competition this year with The Netherlands culminating as the winner!
