NPO, the Dutch national broadcaster, has unveiled the names of the two Eurovision 2020 directors.

The Netherlands are in full swing prepararing for the upcoming Eurovision edition. Marnix Kaart and Marc Pos will be the 2020 Eurovision directors who will be behind the three ESC live shows, nine rehearsals and the competing acts camera plan.

Both Marnix and Marc are well known professionals in the Dutch television industry.

  • Marnix Kaart will be in charge of the visuals that bring the submissions of the different countries to life
  • Marc Pos will be resposible for structure of the three live shows, the set design and the various show blocks that entertain the audience between performances.

Marc Pos says:

I am an inventor, a concept thinker who tries to inspire the team in such a way that we can create a program like a well-oiled machine. It’s one of the largest and complex directional assignments that exists, which I will sink my teeth into. We will show the world what the Netherlands is made of.

Marnix Kaart says:

And now the Eurovision Song Contest. For me it is a dream and an honor to be able and able to do this.

The 2020 Eurovision Song Contest will be co-hosted by three Dutch public broadcasters NPO, NOS and AVROTROS in coordination with the EBU.
