Alexander Rybak back in Malta

Alexander Rybak will visit Malta next week. The 2009 Eurovision winner will be in Malta for the second time in nine months. Rybak who has just returned from Dusseldorf will be the special guest of the Russian Boarding school in Malta.

The Belarusian born star visited the island last September and performed in a charity concert and a private function organised by the Russian Boarding School. Next week he will be the special guest of the same school to perform in the graduation party. The graduation party will also include a performance by the string orchestra from Moscow state college Galina Vishnevskaya. Alexander Rybak is expected to meet the local press on his two-day visit.

Last week Rybak was in Germany reporting for the Norwegian broadcaster NRK at the Eurovision Song Contest. His Eurovision entry Fairytale achieved another record in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest. The top song in Moscow received most points than any other winner in the contest. Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with 387 points.
