Israel's Channel Two broadcasted tonight the travel show Passport, which in this episode accompanied Lior Narkis, Israel's entrant to the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest, during his week in Riga.
Most of the show focused on Narkis' adventures in the Latvian capital and during the preparations to the contest, but also showed other destinations in the Riga vicinity, which the show's crew visited.
'To be honest, before arriving in Riga I perceived Riga and Latvia only as ex-communist, said Narkis in the show, 'but after visiting the city, I admit it is exciting and beautiful', he added.
In the next hours, it will be possible to watch an extract of the show (which also features the Voodoo Euroclub of the delegations and the reception in Riga's jewish centre): follow the link bellow to the Israeli MSN web-portal (in Hebrew), and just click on Narkis' picture to watch the clip.
