Sognu the 2011 French Eurovision entry sung by Amaury Vassili is now available to listen on youtube in its full length. The song will be officially presented to the French viewers tonight at 20.30 CET on France 3 in the Chabada show. France is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest having competed at the very first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. The French have won the contest on 5 ocassions.
France decided to select its Eurovision representative internally. Just like last year, the performer and song were chosen by the French broadcaster France 3. For the second time in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest, a Corsican language song be performed on stage. One of world's youngest professional tenors, Amaury Vassili, will sing his song entitled Sognu at the final of Europe's favourite music show.
Sognu has beenwritten by Daniel Moyne, Quentin Bachelet and Jean-Pierre Marcellesi and will be premiered tonight in Franceduring the broadcast of the Chabada variety showscheduled tobe aired at 20:30 CET on France 3.
