Belarus' national television BTRC have announced Anastasia Vinnikova as their represenative at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Vinnikova will perform Born in Bielorussia, a song penned by Evgeny Oleinik and Viktor Rudenko.
Moments ago, the Belarussian national television have announced their representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Anastasia Vinnikova was internally selected by BTRC to perform a song entitled Born in Bielorussia at the second semi final of the contest. Representatives of the main television stations of the country decided that Vinnikova is the best choiceto performat the 56th edition of Europe's favourite music show.
BTCR received applications from numerous European countries including Greece, Latvia, Luxemburg, Moldova, Russia and Spain. All the 29 application forms were evaluated by a special focus group consisting of professionals involved in the local music industry and television.
Belarus will perform in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.
