Maja Keuc has won the Slovenian ticket to this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with her song Vanilija (Vanilla).

The Slovenian national final, EMA, took place tonight. Ten acts participated and two were selected by a jury consisting of Severina, Darija Svajger and Mojca Mavec to proceed to the Super Final.

Maja won over her fellow super-finalist April, who performed a Lady Gaga-esque song Ladadidej.

The superfinal results are as follows:

April: 11.993 votes

Maja's song, a strong ballad, will take part in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 12th May.
