Tonight Serbia will select its entry for the next Eurovision Song Contest. Three artists who related to each other will go head to head to win the right and represent the Balkan country in this year's Europe's favourite show.

The show

The Kovac family, Kornelije, Aleksandra and Kristina, composed a song for the forthcoming Serbian 2011 Eurovision national final. The group Breeze, Ana Maglica and Aleksandra Kovac are the candidates that will battle against each another at the Serbian national final. Aleksandra Kovac will be defending her own song Idemo dalje, whilst the band Breeze will sing Cornelije's song Ring ring ring and Nina will sing Kristina Kovac's song Caroban.

The event will also be graced with the presence of many singers and actors from Croatia and FYR Macedonia will be there too. They will sing the greatest hits of the three composers. Guests are Nina Badric, Dado Topic, Aleksandra Radovic, Jelena Tomaševic, Karlolina Goceva, Tanja Banjanin, Ana Stanic, Peti element, Boris Novkovic, and the actors Milan Kalinic, Nikola Bulatovic, Mina Lazarevic and Sergej Trifunovic. All the songs will be played live by the RTS musicians’ ensemble.

The show will also feature a short documentary on how the songs were created and cooperation between the performers and past Serbian entries in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The public will select this year's Serbian representative to compete in the first semi-final on 10th May.
