Tonight: Danish Melodi Grand Prix final

Denmark will be choosing their representative for Dusselfdorf tonight. The show will be aired live on DR1 and will kick off at 20.30 CET. A total of 10 candidates will battle for their quest to represent Denmark at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The Danish final will be held at the Ballerup Arena in Copenhagen.Felix Smith and Lise R?�?�?????½?�?�??�??nne, of X Factor fame, will host the 2011 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix


The show

The 2011 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will kick off tonight at 20.30 CET. The over 2 hour long show will see 10 artists take part in the contest in three stages. In the first round a professional jury will be in place to give their comments and also 50% of the overall vote, while viewers can also have their say in a telephone and SMS vote. Four acts will then go further to a semi-final, where they go head to head in duels, where only public votes will decide the winners. The two winners will then go further to a super-final and the winner of this third round will also be decided only by telephone and SMS votes.
