This year's Dutch entry at the Eurovision Song Contest is currently topping the Dutch charts. Je vecht nooit alleen has reached the number 1 position within two weeks, as it entered the charts last week at number 5.
It's the second time in history that a Dutch Eurovision entry managed to become a number 1 hitsingle! Last year's Dutch entry, Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie), performed by Sieneke, topped the charts as well in the Netherlands.
Leadsinger of 3JS, Jan Dulles, reacted enthusiastically on twitter: 'YESSSSSSS! Our number 1 hit is a fact! Thanks everybody for buying itand for your (legal) downloads!' Je vecht nooit alleen is the band's second number 1 hit. Last year, they topped the Dutch charts as well with the song Wat is dromen; a duet with Ellen ten Damme.

3JS will make their Eurovision appearance during the 2nd semifinal of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, on May 12.
