Azerbaijan has decided. Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal will represent the Caucasian country this year at Eurovision in Düsseldorf. Five acts competed in the Azerbaijani selection Milli seçim turu, where they have covered both Eurovision and traditional Azerbaijani folk songs.
It was expected that one singer would win tonight, but it has been eventually decided that Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal will be the fourth Azerbaijani representatives in the Eurovision Song Contest. As you all know, tonight's show was intended to select the singer only. The song will be selected in the coming days or weeks.
