Lena's album no. 1 on amazon, itunes and musicload

Lena Meyer-Landrut's album Good news, which includes all twelve songs in the 2011 German national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, is currently on top of the amazon.de, musicload.de and German itunes sales charts. The second album of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest winner was released last night after the second semi final had ended.

On amazon.de, the album has already been in the top 100 for three weeks thanks to pre-orders alone. Good news includes the 12 songs in the running to become the German entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf. Lena's debut album My cassette player reached number on the charts and was certified double platinum for sales exceeding 600,000 copies. It also reached number one in Austria and top ten placings in Greece, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.

The German national final will take place on 18th Febraury. The following songs will be competing:
