The next UKeurovision Schlager Party takes place on Friday 28th January, from 8pm until 2am at Loom Bar in Clipstone Street, Central London. December’s highly successful relaunch event was attended by around 90 people, and with excitement building for Melodifestivalen 2011 just around the corner, this time promises to be one of the best events of the year.DJ Dave Simmons will once again be playing all your favouriteEurovision, Melodifestivalen and Nordic pop,including schlager divas such as Carola, Alcazar, Linda Bengtzing, Charlotte Perrelli, Shirley Clamp, Lena Ph, Nanne, and many many more.

There will again be an extendedhappy hourfrom 8pm to 10pm, featuring spirits for £2.50 and party favourite Kopparberg for £3.

From 8pm till 11pm, much of the music will be classic tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s. So for everyone who appreciates classic schlager and Eurovision, as well as the great happy hour promotions, there’s never been more reason to arrive early and enjoy the spacious and comfortable venue. From around 11pm for the rest of the night, most of the music will be taken from the 2000s onwards.

The regular ‘tribute slot’ continues to a different favourite schlager act each event, whose songs will be played back-to-back for around 20 minutes during the peak of the night. The featured artist on 28th January will beLinda Bengtzing,who is making a much anticipated return to Melodifestivalen 2011.
