The Icelandic public broadcaster has just published the songs competing in the second semifinal of the country's selection for Eurovision, Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins. Kristján Gíslason and Yohanna, former Icelandic representatives, will perform in the show.
These are the five acts to compete at the second semifinal of the Icelandic selection:
- Kristján Gíslason & Íslenzka sveitin – Þessi þrá (Albert G. Jónsson)
- Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir – Nótt (music: María Björk Sverrisdóttir, Marcus Frenell and Beatrice Eriksson. Lyrics:Magnús Þór Sigmundsson)
- Matthías Matthíasson & Erla Björg Káradóttir – Eldgos (music: Matthías Stefánsson. Lyrics: Kristján Hreinsson)
- Bryndís Ásmundsdóttir – Segðu mér (music: Jakob Jóhannsson. Lyrics: Tómas Guðmundsson)
- Rakel Mjöll Leifsdóttir – Beint á ská (music: Tómas Hermannsson and Orri Harðarson. Lyrics: Rakel Mjöll Leifsdóttir)
