Five days are left before the official deadline to submit entries for this year's Moldovan national selection, passes. The local media reports that the organizers are unsatisfied with the number of submitted entries and their quality. The so-called eccentric performer Sasha Bognibov announced his participation with a unusual number called Do you (k)now I love a girl. Last year, he took part in the Moldovan selection, but failed to pass the pre-selection phase . Natalia Barbu is also said to be part of the list of participating performers.
SunStroke Project and Olia Tira represented Moldova at last year's Eurovision Song Contest. They eventually finished on the 22nd position with 27 points.
