Hungary will be returning to the Eurovision Song Contest next year in Düsseldorf. The news has been confirmed by MTV press office to fansite eschungary.hu.

Hungarian public broadcaster have communicated to the European Broadcasting Union their intentions to participate in the competition next year.

It is expected that in January, details about the Hungarian selection method for Eurovision 2011 will be announced.

MTV will be returning to the Eurovision Song Contest after their withdrawal this year. The last Hungarian representative was Zoli Ádok in 2009 with the song Dance with me.

The official list of participants in Eurovision 2011 will be announced in the first days of January.
