The Danish national pre-selection, Melodi Grand Prix 2002, will be held at February 9 2002.

The contest is open now and will stay open until November 11. Ten songs will be selected for participation in the national final.

The host city for the national final will be Copenhagen, although it hasn't been published where exactly.
