The Netherlands was one of the first countries to select its representant for the upcoming edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Popular boyband 3JS have won the right to fly the Dutch flag next year in Dusseldorf.
Jan Dulles, one of the singers of 3JS, has revealed the titles of the five songs that will compete in Nationaal Songfestival 2011 during a special edition of the 'Eurovisie FM' show on Stadsradio Breda. Guido Aalbers and Gordon Groothedde have worked together with 3JS at the production of the songs.
- De stroom (The stream)
- Nooit alleen (Never alone)
- Toen ik jou vergat (When I forgot you)
- Ga dan niet (Don' go then)
- Weelderig waardeloos (Luxuriously worthless)
All five songs will be performed by 3JS during the 2011 edition of the Dutch national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau will be the host of Nationaal Songfestival 2011 which will take place on January 30 in Hilversum.
The Netherlands was one of the unlucky countries who didn't qualify for the big final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The 29 points scored by Sieneke and her song Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie) were not enough to get a starting position in the final for the Dutch delegation.
