The second semifinal of the 2011 Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision will take place this afternoon at 17:00 CET. Eight acts will compete, six of which will qualify for the country's final, to be held on February 27th.

It was several weeks ago when Ukraine kicked off its selection process for Eurovision 2011. Five quarterfinal rounds were held, with three qualifyers each. Last week, another five singers who didn't pass the quarterfinals got a place in the semifinals via televoting, and the first semifinal was held immediately after. Five acts qualified for the final. Today, it is expected that six acts will go through plus one of the non-qualifyers from the first semifinal.
