Big news for Czech Republic’s Eurovision representative Mikolas Josef: he has signed a worldwide record deal!
Mikolas Josef, who will represent the Czech Republic at Eurovision 2018 with his groovy upbeat entry Lie to me, is very proud of his record deal. The young artist has worked hard to achieve this honour and he happily shared the news on his social media, including Facebook:

The record deal is another big step in the career of the upcoming singer who will grace the stage in Lisbon, Portugal.
Who is Mikolas Josef?
Mikolas Josef (Prague, Czech Republic, 1995) is a Czech singer-songwriter and former model.
Growing up in a small village in Bohemia, the half-Moravian Mikolas later graduated from Prague’s English College and London’s Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Following a successful modelling career, young Mikolas focussed on his passion, music. He performed throughout Europe, in cities such as Hamburg, Oslo, Vienna and Zürich, and released his debut single Hands bloody in 2015.
In 2017 Mikolas Josef was approached to represent the Czech Republic at Eurovision 2017 with the song My turn. He rejected the song, as it didn’t fit his style, and it was eventually performed in Kyiv by Martina Bárta.
At Eurovision 2018
In 2018 it is finally Mikolas Jozef’s turn to represent the Czech Republic with the song Lie to me. He will perform Lie to me from spot number 5 in the first half of Semi-Final 1 on Tuesday 8 May 2018.
