The French-speaking Belgian broadcaster RTBF are carrying out an online selection for Eurovision 2011. The method used this year is based in donations from the public. The candidates gathering 20,000 euro directly qualify for the national final. So far, 5 hopefuls have reached that mark and therefore will compete for the Belgian ticket to Düsseldorf.
The last act to become finalist at the Belgian selection for 2011 is The Blazing with Our way. Previously, other four contestants won that status: Léa Clément with Où s'en vont nos rêves?, Syla K. with Simple love, Hélène with Our home and Steve Linden with C'est la musique.

This year, Belgium was represented in Oslo by Tom Dice and Me and my guitar. The country ended up in sixth place in the final.
