Malta looks and sounds optimistic for this Saturday's outcome at the 48th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Reports from the Maltese camp in Riga state that the Maltese entry seems to be rapidly gaining momentum as the big day approaches.

'During her second rehearsal session, Lynn oozed confidence as she played the piano till the first chorus, and as she strolled around the stage in a classy manner, bearing her typical smile.

Lynns planned movements on stage, which were absent in the first rehearsals on Monday, were decided upon during a meeting between the singer herself and the Maltese delegation on Tuesday night.

Quoting Maltasong chairman, Charlo Bonnici, “they are being used to introduce an element of surprise with the aim of improving Maltas visual package on Saturdays show. One must bear in mind that the ESC is primarily a television show.”

In Wednesdays rehearsals Lynn wore the same white trousers and deep pink, one-sleeved top baring her midriff with which she will be performing on Saturday. The outfit is the work of Greek designers BSB, whose local agents are Flash Black and Match Music.

This outfit brings out the real me, commented Lynn. I really like colours, they make me feel comfortable.
