He won the Montenegrin national selection Montevizija 2018 and now he’s going for much more! We’re talking of course about Vanja Radovanović, who is gearing up to present the official video clip of his song Inje on 10 March. His video has been shot in several regions around his country.

In the middle of a fairy tale scenery

Vanja Radovanović and his team started the filming of the 10th Montenegrin Eurovision entry a few days ago and something quite original is expected according to the director’s Gojka Berkuljana words:

Unlikely to the previous videos, which have been mainly tourist-oriented, we will now present our country in a different, fairy tale mood, through Victorian costumes and timeless stories that rely on the atmosphere of Vanja’s song.

Vanja also portrays his sense of humor with one of the shooting pictures in which his face is covered, writing:

Αt last, I look nice in a photograph!

The video’s filming has taken place in iconic Montenegrin regions like Kotor, Stari Bar, Valdanos and Cetinje and below you can browse the picture album that national broadcaster of the country RTCG has published. Vanja’s pictures seem to exhale mystery and strong ambience, don’t they?

Montenegro at Eurovision

Montenegro debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest as an independent state in 2007 and has been counting 9 participations. So far, the beautiful country of the Balkans has been present at only 2 Grand Final shows and its best result has been a 13th position in 2015, with Knez and Adio.

Last year, the young singer Slavko Kalezić defended the country’s colours in Kyiv. Although he made an out of the ordinary stage presence, he was eliminated at the first semi-final evening.

Stay tuned for Vanja’s official video!
