New Lena single enters charts in Germany and Austria

The new single Touch an new day by 2010 Eurovision Song Contest winner Lena Meyer-Landrut has entered the charts in Germany and Austria. It is the fourth song included on her first album My cassette player to appear in those charts. Meanwhile, the album is still at number six in the Germany charts, 14 weeks after its release and it has been certified double platinum.

Touch a new day entered the German single charts at number 13 being the highest new entrant in the top 100 this week. In Austria, the single entered the charts at number 52 last week but managed to raise to number 26 this week.

Lena won the the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 for Germany with the song Satellite, which became a number one hit in seven countries.
