Salvador Sobral, the 2017 Portuguese Eurovision winner, will be appearing on television for the first time after his heart transplant. RTP, the Portuguese national broadcaster will be airing a special interview with the Eurovision winner this evening.

Alls well that ends well! Salvador Sobral is recuperating from his heart surgery and will back into action in due course. Sobral took a long break from the music scene after his Eurovision victory due to health reasons.

The Eurovision winner will be seen on Portuguese television for the first time since his heart transplant. RTP’s Telejornal will be featuring a tête à tête with the multi talented Portuguese singer. The interview will be conducted by João Adelino Faria.

Salvador in Eurovision

Salvador Sobral has become a national hero in Portugal since he won the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with his entry Amar pelos dois. The talented singer brought the coveted Eurovision trophy on home soil after for the very first time in history.

Sobral will be also gracing the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest stage in May when Eurovision lands in Lisbon.
