The trio F.L.Y. consisting of Yana Kay, Lauris Raynix, Martin Freiman, had their first rehearsal at the Skonto Hall. At the press conference the singers performed their Eurovision Song Contest 2003 entry hello From Mars and made the journalists laugh about their adventures during the promotion tour in Europe.
The rehearsal went smooth. It was trio's first performance on the Skonto stage. The singers had good feeling of cameras.
At the press conference they revealed that the song Hello from mars has nothing to do with the ailiens or Star Wars. Lauris Reynix assured: “It is a happy, enthusiastic song about love, friendship, really about us all”.
The trio F.L.Y. started last autumn as a special project for the Latvian Nationial Preselection. The three singers representing different music styles joined and won. They have released an album Never look back on May 5th. Yet the promotional tour in Europe and the preparation for the Eurovision Song Contset 2003, Yana Kay and Martin Freiman with the group Tumsa are working on their own albums, while Lauris Raynix has released the CD a month ago.
