The official night club for delegations and journalists coming to Riga, Euroclub at the Voodoo club, was opened last night after the mayor's reception ended.

At first, the house DJ played some contemporary party music and two of Latvia's most popular bands played their music, but later on DJ Chezy Shayer of Israel arrived at the scene and then it really became Euroclub: Only Eurovision music, from all times and countries.

A few of this year's artists joined the party: Ireland's Mickey Harte, Turkey's Sertab Erener and Spain's Beth gave a performance on the club's little stage. But the real star of the night was undoubtly Israel's Lior Narkis. He and his whole delegation joined the party and stayed with the clubbers until about 3am, dancing and having fun to Eurovision music. His song, Words for love was played a few times (together with Spain's Dime) during the night.
