Lior Narkis, Israeli entrant to Riga, had his first rehearsal on the stage in Riga last night.

During the Israeli act on Saturday, a unique lightning will be used on stage: The arches above the stage will be lit with the shapes of pigeons and the video screens srounding the stage (or UFO's, as LTV prefers calling them) show the word love in various languages (not in Hebrew, though).

The backing vocalists are playing a nice trick with their outfits, as they are stripping parts of them along the song, each time revealing the word love.

The Israeli performers had 3 sessions on stage. The first one had terrible sound problems but they were all fixed properly in the next two sessions.

Israel's press conference was the last one in the first day of rehearsals, and it took place exactly when the official reception was given by the mayor of Riga, hence the small number of journalists who attended it.
