Yesterday, ukrainian broadcaster NTU, announced in a statement that they are investigating the song 'To Be Free' by Alyosha which won the ukrainian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. After detailed analysis of the song 'To be free' which won the ukrainian national selection for Eurovision 2010, NTU have concluded that the song does not meet the requirements of EBU.

Afternegotiations with European Broadcasting Union (EBU) executive supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, Svante Stokselius, NTU have proposed to change the song that national final winner Alyosha will sing.NTU along with the jury are currently selecting a song for the singer to sing at the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Oslo, Norway.

According to the head of the Ukrainian delegation Viktoria Romanova, who is in Oslo attending the Heads of Delegations meeting of all participating countries, "Ukraine has to submit all documents on the new song in Oslo no later than Friday, March 26th 2010."
