More than 240 reactions could be found after yesterday's piece of news on a 1-minute snippet of the French song for 2010, “Allez ola” (we don't know if the “ol&eacute” is part of it or not) by Jessy Matador. The full version is now available with over 50% of feedback being described as 'positive' towards the song.

This came as a surprise for French fans, who were left unconvinced when the name of the performer was revealed, a few weeks ago.Eurofans' reactions in France are still mixed, but many of them feel that, although not their cup of tea, the song will for sure be singled out due to the presence of so many ballads and no other up-tempo entries in that style.

Still, a good number of fans now hope the performance and routine will be perfect.Today's national daily Aujourd'hui / Le Parisien has half a page on the French choice (as well as a headline on its cover), under the title 'Jessy, France's festive joker.' Nicolas Pernikoff, France Télévisions' entertainment manager, says, "With his own style, he will bring cheerfulness to Eurovision."Journalist Carine Didier explains that, since yesterday's revelation, the song receives good feedback from abroad and kind of calms down the French fans. The same article gives an important piece of news for French people asthe name of the commentators for the EurovisionSong Contest 2010 are Cyril Hanouna and Stéphane Bern.

Note that the French video which will be given to the EBU this Monday during the HOD meeting in Oslo is not the official one, as it willbe shot in April.
