Tonight, O melodie pentru Europa, the Moldovan national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will kick off. 15 acts will compete for seven spots in the national final.
The Show
The show to be broadcast on Moldova 1 will start at 19:40 CET (20:40 local time). 15 acts will present one song each and the top seven to be chosen by a jury (50%) and televoting (50%) will qualify for the national final on 6th March.

In 2009, Moldova was represented by Nelly Ciobanu, who finished fifth in the second semi final and 14th in the final with the song Hora din Moldova. In 2010, the country will compete in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 25th May.
