March 6th is the date when Ukraine will decide upon the entry to be performed by Vassyl Lazarovich in Oslo. A total of six songs chosen by the jury will enter the national final, and the winner will be decided by a mixture of jury vote and public vote.

The show will start at 19:00 local time (18:00 CET), and six songs chosen by the jury out of all the submissions will feature. The entries have been composed by both national and foreign composers. Both NTU and Vassyl Lazarovich are extremely grateful to all the composers and songwriters who expressed the interest in participating in Ukrainian Song Selection Contest and sent their songs.

The outcome of the show will be provided by a combination of jury vote and public vote at a 50/50 stake. Should there be a tie, points given by the jury will prevail.

The Ukrainian broadcasting company NTU has also informed that rehearsals for the show will take place on March 5th at 14:00 local time. Moreover, a number of Eurovision 2010 national representatives will perform as guests in the show.

Ukraine will participate in the first half of the second semifinal of Eurovision 2010, to be held on May 27th.
