The Serbian national broadcaster RTS has just made an announcement about the song submission process for their upcoming national selection to be held in 2018. Despite the initial concluding date for submissions being scheduled for tomorrow, 20 October, the broadcaster has now opted for extending this date to 10 November.
Anonymous submission to postal address
RTS decided to hold again a national final for 2018 after two consecutive internal selections in 2016 and 2017. All composers and artists wishing to submit an entry for the competition can anonymously send their candidate songs under the title ‘Pesmu Evrovizije 2018’ to the following address:
JMU, Radio-televizija Srbije,
Zabavni program,
Muzička redakcija,
Takovska 10,
11000 Beograd
There’s no restriction to the nationality of the composers; however, the lead singer wishing to represent Serbia in 2018 must be Serbian. Moreover, RTS has also decided to again apply language requirements for the songs, as all songs have to be in one of the country’s national languages.
