Good evening and welcome to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2010, live from Aalborg, Denmark!
The hosts Felix Smith and Julie Berthelsen welcome all the viewers.
We are now introduced to all the 10 participants!
And we're off…
Song 01: Bryan Rice – Breathing (esctoday.com poll result (18.2 %) – 2nd)
Set in rain, Bryan appears wet with water of course. A very modern pop/rock song that is very easy on the ear. Dressed in a black blazer and denim shirt, this song is very commercial and could do well beyond Eurovision.

Song 02: Joakim Tranberg – All about a girl (esctoday.com poll result (10.3%) – 3rd)
Dressed in a grey suit Joakim is joined on stage by a male and a female dancer dancing with each other on a bed. It is very very distracting and takes away from the singer. The song is a catchy pop tune but bland and amateurish in parts.

Song 03: MariaMatilde Band – Panik! (esctoday.com poll result (5.1%) – 9th)
The two female singers are joined on stage by two male dancers. Very typical of a pop song. This song doesn't do much to stand out and may get lost in the running order.
Song 04: Simone – How will I know (esctoday.com poll result (10.2%) – 4th)
The singer is dressed in a long white dress and is joined by a female harpist on stage. Are we at the Irish national final? A sweet ballad echoing the presentation somewhat Yohanna who came 2nd for Iceland at Eurovision 2009. Could this song be a surprise winner?

Song 05: Jens Marni – Gloria (esctoday.com poll result (8.0%) – 6th)
A rock performance now, Jens is joined on stage with not 1, not 2 but 3 drummers. Dressed in black suits, this performance is giving a huge presence on stage including fire flames on the dumkits. However, the song does nothing much to ignite the audience.
Song 06: Chanée & Tomas N'evergreen – In a moment like this (esctoday.com poll result (9.1%) – 5th)
Both singers appear on stage for this duet behind each other seperated by a screen. We can see each others shadow in the background. Each singer is dressed in blue and black, this song is missing a kick to it. The wind machine comes into play but at this stage the song looks to be lost somewhat and would struggle in Eurovision.

Song 07: Kaya Brüel – Only tonight (esctoday.com poll result (6.6%) – 7th)
Kaya is on stage dressed in a huge navy dress, and I mean huge! This is a pop type of song. She is raided ip high on stage and we get to see the extent of her dress which somewhat looks like a stage curtain. It seems there's more focus on presentation as opposed to the song itself. She is joined on stage by a lone male dancer in white but it is very distracting and he disappears under her dress. A muted response from the audience greets the ending of the number.

Song 08: Thomas Barsøe – Just like rain (esctoday.com poll result (1.5%) – 10th)
Thomas opens the song behind a piano with a band. A girl is lying in water at one part of the stage waving. The song is a pop/soft-rock number, very weak vocally in parts. We see Thomas singing to the girl from the edge of the water pool. Nothing special unfortunately.
Song 09: Sukkerchok – Kæmper for kærlighed (esctoday.com poll result (25.9%) – 1st)
A band comprising three ladies singing an uptempo camp number. The girls are dressed in military outfits. The song is very focused on its performance. A pop disco song that gets the crowd going. Webcast difficulties here.
Song 10: Silas & Kat – Come come run away (esctoday.com poll result (5.1% – 8th)
The singers of this song seem to play to the audience and get them on their feet. The song focuses its performance on a robotic dramatic dance routine somewhat. The song has a rock tone to it. Webcast difficulties once again.
We've heard all the songs now and we get a recap of all the songs aswell as the voting numbers.
