Slovak broadcaster STV has announced this morning that the winning song of the first quarterfinal of the country's selection for Eurovision 2010 has been disqualified. It has been found that Taká sa mi pá�i, performed by Hrdza, was presented prior to October 1st 2009, thus breaking the basic Eurovision rules. Consequently, the spot will now be filled with Horská chata, who got 5th place on January 22nd.
Horská chata, who placed 5th at the Slovak first quarterfinal with 8,7% of the vote, joins now the group of 4 qualifiers for the first semifinal, to take place on February 14th.
The list of qualifiers from the 1st quarterfinal in Slovakia is as follows:
- Richard Ä�anaky & FBI – Zlomené krídla – 18,5%
- Tomáš Bezdeda – Na strechách domov – 16,9%
- Michaella – O nás – 15,9 %
- Horská chata – Myslíš, že vieš, kto som? – 8,7%
