Riga City Council, in co-operation with Eurovison Song Contest 2003 organizers, has worked out a plan of traffic restrictions in Riga for the period May 5 – May 26.

The main reason for setting the restrictions is to provide the operative preparation process as well as participants and public's security and comfort.

On May 5, the Eurovision production team moves to the Skonto Complex. The main changes in the traffic will concern the streets close to the venue. As of May 18, the other restrictions will come into effect and regard the streets and places where the cultural program will go on.
