FYR Macedonia: Singers announced for Skopje 2010

Today, FYR Macedonian broadcaster, MKRTV, announced the singers for each of the twenty-eight songs in this year's 'Skopje' festival to choose their entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.

This year 126 songs were entered for this year's Skopje 2010Festival. Out of these, a jury of six people picked 28 songs to be performed at the event.Earlier a list of all songtitles as too their respective authors had already been published on December 30th, 2009 (see here). Today the performers were announced.

The singers with their songs are:

Thenational selection process Skopje 2010 will feature a total of three shows, two semifinals and a final, where these 28 songs will fight it out for the honour to represent the Balkan country. The semi finals will take place on February 18th and 19th, while the national final of Skopje 2010willtake placeon February 20th. 14 songs will be performed in each semifinal, and a total of 8 will make it to the final. The winning entry will be decided by a mix of televote and 6-member jury vote at a 50/50 split.

The draw for the running order will be done in early February during a special tv show.
