Alexander Rybak performed at the Red Square in Moscow last month, at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics official brand presentation. Alexander performed the Russian version of the 2009 Eurovision winning entry Fairytale. He performed at the ice ring in Red Square with the backdrop of the Kremlin, in front of an over enthusiastic audience.

Alexander won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow last May representing Norway. He has gained much fame and recognition in Russia, where he was invited to perform at the specialpresentation ceremony of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics brand. Never before has a Eurovision winning entry had such a massive impact in Russia like Alexander's Fairytale. The song has been recorded in Russian under the title of Skazka.
