Yesterday, the producer of Liquid Eurovision, Simon Proctor, reported to esctoday.com about the latest developments concerning the Eurovision Song Contest at the BBC.

“Our website bbc.co.uk/eurovision will be relaunched next Monday 7th of April and will include full video clips of all this year's songs, a Eurovision history, party guide and polls. We will be showing the preview videos in five nightly shows called Liquid Eurovision on BBC Three from May 19th until May 23rd. Like last year, these shows will be hosted by Eurovision fan Lorraine Kelly who will be joined by guests to talk about the videos. We will also link up live to Riga each night to see how preparations for this year's contest are going and what the various participants have been doing”, Proctor told us.

There will be an additional BBC Three programme live on the Eurovision night linking up live to Riga, details to be announced around that time. There are also plans for interactive coverage during the Contest on BBCi.

Terry Wogan will commentate again for the BBC in Riga. Proctor told that they have a surprise for the British Eurovision fans this year and that it will be revealed on May 24th.
