Maltese Eurovision fans have the chance to meet their entrant for this year’s competition, Claudia Faniello, and wish her well before she heads to Ukraine for the 2017 contest.

A special farewell party is being held at the Oro Lounge in Sliema, Malta on 29 April where fans can eat, drink and party the night away with Claudia Faniello, before flying off to Kyiv in the days to follow to rehearse and compete at the contest.

Claudia will be competing in the second semi-final on the 11 May and hopes to successfully follow in the footsteps of Ira Losco, who reached the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 for Malta.

Claudia was selected to represent Malta following her victory in the country’s national final with the entry Breathlessly.
