Yesterday, we reported on Hanne Krogh soon to travel Norway from North to South with three tenors on a Christmas tour. Her Bobbysocks mate Elisabeth Andreassen is also ready for a series of X-Mas concerts, in duet with opera and musical singer Rein Alexander.

The tour will begin next November 25 in Bergen. It includes 22 concerts and the last two performances will be given in two different churches of the capital-city, Oslo, on December 21 and 22.Meanwhile, a CD album entitled Julenatt is due to be released on November 16 by EMI Norway, with 13 tracks in Norwegian and English.

Last year, Rein Alexander and Elisabeth Andreassen already gave Christmas concerts, with guest singers Wenche Myhre, Vidar Johnsen & Peter Nordberg, Kåre Conradi, Maria Haukaas Storeng, Erlend Brattland, Raske Menn and E-Type.

Elisabeth Andreassen (Andreasson, at the time) first took part at the Eurovision Song Contest as half of the Swedish duet Chips in 1982 with Dag efter dag (8th), then won the contest in 1985 as half of the Norwegian duet Bobbysocks with La det swinge. She was back for Norway in 1994, again as half of another duet – the other half being Jan Werner Danielsen, with the song Duett (6th). Her last to date participation was at home, back in 1996, in Oslo, with the song I evighet, which placed 2nd.
