TVE, the national Spanish broadcaster will be airing a special Eurovision Song Contest documentary on Thursday the 22nd of October on TVE1 at 23:45 CET. Albert Solé will be portraying the history along with the facts and feats of the much loved Eurovision Song Contest during the past 50 years. 50 años de Eurovision will take you back memory lane to the olden golden days!
Spain entered the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has since participated in every single edition of the contest. To date, it is the only country in the history of the contest to participate every year since its debut, without missing out any edition. Spain has won the Eurovision Song Contest on 2 occassions: in 1968 with Massiel and in 1969 with Salomé.
