Boyzone performed the song Let the message run free as the interval act at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin. Lead singer of the group Ronan Keating also co-presented the show, the fourth time in five years that Ireland hosted the competition. His death on Saturday night sparked speculation about possible causes, but it has been confirmed that he died of natural causes. The remaining members of the band have travelled to Spain to bring his body home to Ireland. They will stay with his body before the funeral, due to take place in Dublin this weekend. The band were notoriously close and called Steven their "little brother".

Steven also enjoyed success as a solo singer and performed the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in Londoon. His sudden death at the age of 33 was a tragedy and esctoday.com join fans around the world in sending our condolences to his family and band members.
