Back in September 2008, Marc Moulin, member of Télex, died of throat cancer. This week, famous jazz label Blue Note publishes a 3-CD box with most of Moulin's personal works.

Moulin's website writes : "Blue Note pays tribute to the Belgian keyboardist-composer Marc Moulin and releases the first 'best of' of one of the electro jazz pioneer and lounge star in the years 2000. Also, in limited edition the "Boxof ", a 3 albums anthology including 45 titles, among those 15 unreleased, rare or live tracks".

Earlier this year (in June), EMI Belgium released a new "Best of" CD of Télex, entitled "Ultimate", which can be bought on http://www.7digital.com/stores/emibelgium_3/artists/telex/ultimate-best-of/. Back in 1980, Télex represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in The Hague, with the song Euro-Vision. Moulin was not the singer of the group, but one of the two keyboardists (the tallest one, on the left). In an interview about their Eurovision experience, Marc Moulin declared: "We had hoped to finish last, but Portugal decided otherwise. We got ten points from them!". This placed Belgium at the 17th place out of 19 contestants that year.
