The popular fan contest National Finals Song Contest (NFSC) started its 2003 edition today. This year, a total of 278 songs compete from 20 national finals.
This is the fourth year the Spanish Eurovision site EurovisionMadrid.com organizes NFSC. The contest is divided into three; the twelve groups of the “first round”, the three semi finals and the final which will contain 24 entries. The final of NFSC 2003 will go on from May 3 till May 14.
The runner up in EMA 2002, the uptempo dance tune �e in �e by Karmen Stavec, became the winner of NFSC 2002. Karmen Stavec is also this year's participant for Slovenia in Riga with Nanana.
