Iceland: Yohanna loves Mika and cereals!

Three months after she placed second at the Eurovision Song Contest, the 2009 Icelandic entrant Yohanna takes no rest and is still to be seen in many festivals and TV shows, mainly in Scandinavia, to promote her CD album Butterflies And Elvis.

The album is presenly in the 19th position of the Swedish charts, after four chart weeks. Is it true, the Eurovision entry, managed to enter no less than 11 national charts, having its best positions in Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Greece (all Top 5). On her personal MySpace, Yohanna has published a picture with her and Mika, during the Rix FM Festival, on August the 15th in Malmö, Sweden. Sarah Dawn Finer and Alcazar were on stage too. I do love the opportunity touring gives you, to travel from country to country, seeing brilliant new people and beautiful cities. I have met so many of you yet I haven't had nearly as much time as I would like to see you all at the shows, she said. Meeting Mika, she declares: He was great, so much fun, we had a little chat and he's very friendly and he even knew some of my songs, how fantastic.

Incidentally, Mika has also expressed his desire to participate at the Eurovision Song Contest in the past. Currently, he's about to release his new album in September.
