The final track for the song has since been recorded using real folkloric instrumentation, however it now features further musical inclusion from instruments such as violins and bagpipes. During the national final performance back in January, the song did not include all this.

The final video version of the performance for Eurovision will be sent to the EBU’s Eurovision Creative Group no later than Sunday. The technical team behind the entry will then take care of staging the Belarusian performance in Kyiv.

This is the first entry for the nation to be sang in the Belarusian language.

The Belarusian nation has yet to win the contest; their best score was achieved in 2007 when they reached 6th place in the final. Belarus last qualified in Eurovision 2014 with Teo and his song Cheesecake which reached 16th place in the final with 43 points.
