Tonight’s show

Each of the 8 participants in tonight’s show had to perform to both the public as well as the 3-member jury panel. Together, the votes of the public and jury were combined with the top 2 qualifying to the Grand Final.

The 3-member jury panel consists of the following:

  • Konstantin Meladze: Composer and producer
  • Andriy Danylko: Ukraine’s 2007 representative as Verka Serduchka
  • Jamala: Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016

The semi-final 1 results are in!

Following a short break in between the show, the full results were revealed which saw Salto Nazad and Tayanna top the jury vote.

Once they were combined with the public vote, it was confirmed that Salto Nazad and Tayanna would remain at the top of the scoreboard and were therefore announced as the first 2 finalists.
