BTRC, the Belarusian national broadcaster, has revealed that the broadcaster has received a total of 67 submissions for the country’s upcoming national final for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

This year, BTRC has received their 67 valid entries from artists and composers both nationally and internationally, including submissions from acts based in countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Latvia and the USA.

Live auditions tomorrow

Tomorrow will see the 67 entrants perform in the audition stage of the competition at the 600 Meters studio in Minsk from 10:00 CET (12:00 local time). Vocals cannot be pre-recorded on the track and the acts must perform 100% live.

A professional jury will judge each of the performances throughout the day, who will then go on to create a shortlist of no more than 15 finalists who will compete for the right to represent Belarus at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

A list of finalists will be revealed tomorrow evening following the conclusion of auditions.
